The Forecasters - My old Bloomington band led by J.J. Perry and Will "The Weatherman" Scott. Through this band J.J. became one of my best friends and godfather to my oldest child.

Gordon Bonham - Gordon's a legend around Indiana and feel fortunate to count him as a friend and musical partner

Pembroke Moreland - Friend, musician, business associate, and studio engineer (engineers the public radio show "Broadway Memories")

Mike Compton - A new friend but longtime hero. I count Mike as one of my musical mentors (along with Gordon Bonham)

Will Kimble - One of the finest mandolin builders in the country and a good friend. I'm proud to play one of his mandolins.

David Long - Another new friend and one of the finest mandolinists out there today.

Butch Robins - A legendary innovator of the 5 string banjo and someone I now call a friend.

David Grier - One of the best flatpicking guitarists of all time and a new friend.

Black Crow Booking - Run by Alana Stewart, Black Crow Booking books an impressive roster of string band musicians, including Mike Compton, David Long, James Bryan, and Chris Sharp. Alana's also a new friend and is "good people"

Fields of Bluegrass Radio Hour: Hosted by Cary Fields on 88.7 WICR-FM Indianapolis, IN. Cary is very much a grass roots promoter/evangelist of bluegrass music--especially local acts. A very much appreciated resource in central Indiana.

Other Points of Interest

International Bluegrass Music Association - The organization with the agenda of preserving, advancing, and promoting bluegrass music around the globe. Richter Digital Arts is a member of the IBMA.

The Mandolin Cafe (www.mandolincafe.com) - The absolute best online community for mandolinists, and in my opinion, the best online community for musicians, period.

The Slippery Noodle Inn: The home of the blues in Indiana. This tavern is a must see if you're visiting Indianapolis and is a stomping ground, of sorts, for me. Very much a center of operations for Yank Rachell during his last decade of life.
