2/14/06: I've been neglectful of this site and resolve to do better this new year of 2006. The holidays, illness, and more work than I could handle have kept me from working on my own site. Keep an eye out for a better portfolio section, as well as sound/video samples in my musician area. Also, I haven't put any personal photos of my family up in the Family area for awhile, so that's a priority as well.
Of newsworthy import, the incomparable David Grier, guitarist par excellance, has now enlisted the services of Richter Digital Arts to build and maintain a new website for him. Very exciting, especially since David is one of my favorite flatpicking guitarists. Keep an eye out for his new site in the coming month.
10/14/05 Thanks to everyone who came out to the Chris Sharp David Long show I promoted in Bloomington late September. Those guys are some of my favorites and they put on an excellent show. Gordon and me didn't do too bad either. If you want to see video from the concert, click here: http://www.richterdigitalarts.net/Video/SharpLong/SharpLong.html
Gearing up for IBMA. I will be there from Tuesday through Saturday, spending some time in Butch Robins' suite, promoting my attempt at some type of graphic design/web business. Mostly, I probably do a lot of picking. I'll be running sound for Mike Compton and David Long at their Kimble Mandolins sponsored showcase on Wednesday night.
8/25/05 Thanks for coming to Richter Digital Arts! The majority of this site is up and running. Steadily, I will go through and finely craft each section, but for now, it's at least working!
I'm doing my last concert promotion of the year this Sept. 22nd, when I host Chris Sharp and David Long here in Bloomington. Chris and David have a fantastic new album out called "One Hand on the Radio" and they're touring with their 5 piece band to support it. They will be at the Monroe County History Center Thursday 9/22 at 7:30PM. Myself and Gordon Bonham will open for them. Cost is $10 at the door; $7 if you have a valid student ID.
